Emily Diers

Emily Diers is the founder of bodycraft, and lifelong student of movement. she began dancing at age 5 outside of Chicago, studied dance at the conservatory for performing arts at Point Park University, and danced professionally in NYC for 12 years.

searching for a way to earn a better living with her gifts and experience, Emily entered the fitness space in 2013 after a long stint of waitressing. she began her career under a celebrity trainer and five years later was ready to spread her wings and embark on her own journey. bodycraft was born in 2018 from a desire to offer a more process-oriented, encouraging approach to movement. her style is energizing, spiritual, and thoughtful - always bringing a high understanding of complex movement patterns to her programming, and prioritizing joy, play, and sensuality.

Emily has trained the likes of Ellen Pompeo, Naomi Watts, and Julianne Moore, dancers and non dancers alike, pre and post natal parents, beginners, children, the elderly, and regular folks dealing with the ups and downs of being a human. it is a core belief of hers that movement should meet you where you are. there is always a possibility.
